Help Needed! (must have Facebook)

So, i've just entered into a competition to hopefully win a $200 voucher at my local Spotlight (craft store). Thing is, I need votes.

Can you spare a few seconds for me? If I won this it would mean that i'd have a years worth of spendings at my store, or I could do a few projects that are just too expensive to shell out a heap of money on.

CLICK HEAR PLEASE>

If the link doesn't work, here's the code to copy and paste: https://www.facebook.com/Spotlightstores?sk=app_218931798221036&app_data=peid%3D68310%26page%3Dentry%26id%3D28566

If it takes you to the main page, my entry's on the 3rd or 4th page at the moment, but will probably be further back by the time I post this.

All you have to do is hit the vote button, I think. There may be some Facebook app that you need to allow, I can't remember. :/

Thanks in advance! :D

Thankyou, everyone! :D

I have an excite - I was just clicking my way across the net (as you do) and thought i'd check up on my Delighted store.
I found something rather familiar on the front page...

Illness, stitching and Cutie marks

Well, I'd like to start by thanking Boots for his passion about kangaroo.

I'm feeling a bajillionty miles better than this time last week, which is good.

I've kept myself busy.. Well as busy as I could be when I wasn't hacking up a lung or asleep.

I finished the dark brown border of my cross stitch,

And I've made good progress on the ecru border inside that. I've barely used half a skein, and the ecru is almost done! It's a good feeling to have quick progress after using 2 and a half skeins for the first bit. After the ecru is done, it'll be back into the dark brown for another border. This one will be a bit more interesting though! If I'm going to stuff up anywhere, it'll be here.

No pic of that - you cant really see what I've done!

I did do one thing Ive never done before though- after finishing the border I took a break and played with waste canvas for the first time :)

I could only get 14ct locally but that's fine. I stitched this onto my back jeans pocket:

Not too shabby for a first go!

Busy Busy FJL!

I've been wallowing in the motherlode of longstitch and tapestry goodness. I found a heap of unstarted canvases at my local op shop.. and bought most of them. Some had kits, some didn't. I've learned things - I can do french knots! ..in wool, and wool alone. >.<

I'm not sure *what* to do with th ones i've finished though - I think the tiger and the lady will be gifts, though - they were the two kit ones, and turned out the best, imo.

The other ones, I don't know. I might list them, I might gift them.. I might just frame them and spruce up the house a bit. Hmm.

There's one (the tapestry flowers) that i'verun out of BLANC on, but that's easily solved next time I go down to spotlight.

I hope you liked these! And my washing machine! ;)

I've been working on these more than the Zep. cross stitch - I find Longstitch to be more enjoyable, because it provides more instant gratification. I like gratification. ;) It was a really nice change of pace, too.

I haven't found anything more down there, yet, that aren't literally cut in half or something irreparable, but I'm keeping my hopes high!
