Last Cross Stitch Project of the Year..

And it's an Ancient Hyrulian Scroll! :D

My progress so far:

....yup.

The pattern is by Zombified over on the Sprite Stitch Forums. I know I'm not going to finish it by next year (I know, not funny ;) ) buuut, it will definitely fill time until my purchases come in the mail and I can start present making. :)

Oh, the possibilites for next year!

Currently brewing up some ideas for new patterns in the stores, and fighting with BSODs* that are more and more common on this computer, unfortunatley. :(

Anyway, until next year - Have a great one, whether you're at a party, alone, wiching you were at one while being at the other... just make it yours.

Onwards, 2013!!

A few interesting things..

I finally finished 1/2 of the bobbins i've got to wind! The other half are still bundled up in the baggie and loop system I had going, until it just got too big to manage... I got pulled over going through airport security a couple of months ago - they had no idea what the strange blob was! My stash has only gotten bigger since then.

So, go me!

I decided to annoy the cat while I was out in the loungeroom,

and then taking a quick pic of the frame i'm painting for part of a gift that's due next year - you can just see the sewing box that the fiancee got me for Christmas in the background! :D

And a friend on Facebook led me to this glorious thing.

Star Trek Cross stitch -- Captain Picard, "Set Phasers to Stunning" sampler

I think I need to make this.

I*know* I need to make this. mmmmm...

Shoutout: Wild Olive's Printable Awesomness

So to kick off my posting back here (I remembered my password! Go me!) i'm doing a shoutout to a blog i've been following for a long while - Wild Olive on Blogger

I love the little crafts that is put up on a regular basis, and especially love these little bobbins she has provided for personal use. It's worth your time to print on the heaviest card your printer can handle, or follow the advice found in one of the posts - get some heavy card and spray it with adhesive, then lay a printed sheet (paper) on top to make them. I really can't think of anything else to say, except go check it out!

Also, Happy new Year for tomorrow! :D

I passed!

I passed 'how to forget to update your blog 101', that is. Oops.
Been busy, working on something I can't show yet- though I can show the little thing I made today - nsfw-ish

Not sure what to do with it, I've made a few patterns along these lines as well, but needing inspiration- what's your favourite swear word?
